My grandmom, Ella Porter. Everyone thinks she looks pretty mean, but she wasn't. I took this in high school around 1970 or 71 when she was in her 90s. Used an odd camera my dad picked up. It was a Bell & Howell Dial 35, a half-frame 35 mm with a spring-driven auto film advance and a variety of lenses that rotated into position. Don't know where it went and didn't think anything of it until I saw one in the Kodak photo museum in Rochester.
