What's with me and the dead stuff this month?
I was sitting in a traffic jam on a 4 lane highway and looked out my window and this poor dead redtail hawk was lying right next to me on the shoulder. Jumped out and grabbed it before we started moving again, thinking there must be some good shot. Unfortunately, I only had an hour or so to play that day and didn't think that putting it in the fridge would be much appreciated by the family, so I didn't accomplish much. Thought the cats would be very interested and do something feral and predatory, but no one was impressed. The most this one did was bat it once or twice and then jump down. Hawk got a semi-decent funeral in the woods.
