Me: My studio is located in my home in Chadds Ford, PA. With both models and still lifes, I try to capture beauty in all its guises of shape, texture and color. My inspiration comes from the 17th century masters of classical painting and contemporary photographers such as Jan Sudek and Robert Mapplethorpe. Camera and Lenses: I have been using a Canon 5D for several years. My favorite lens is the 24-70mm f2.8L, lovely for studio and landscape. The Canon 24mm T/S is essential for my church interiors; the shift movement allows perspective correction as you can see in this shot of the Cathedral in Granada. By way of comparison, I used the 24-70mm lens (no shift) for this shot of the organ in the Salisbury cathedral. |
Let's hope it gets good ones soon!
